This is one of the oldest and HACCP Certified garden in Darjeeling. Established in 1852, the estate slopes from a height of 6500 ft to 1500 ft. The estate spreads over an area of 22 kms and ends up on the river Rungeet. The clonal bushes planted on this gardens are typically suited to the ambience of this area. It also makes a mark to have earned the ISO 9002 certificate, a feat first time by a tea estate.

Fresh green Leaf is immediately transported to the factory and pan roasted in a specialized panner to arrest fermentation and deactivate the enzymes.
After the panning process the teas are hand rolled very lightly and fired in the dryer to ensure Good keeping quality.
